I've taken several journalism courses knowing in mind that I eventually want to write for a women's magazine. I admit that I have a passion for fashion, and that's the industry I want to get into. A lot of people think it's silly, but I honestly don't find politics that interesting. (No offense to government majors!)
I also want to get into magazine writing because I've seen that many of them allow the writer to use their own opinion and I find that makes the story more interesting.
I've written a lot of stories for classes and I'm interning for an upcoming news publication, but I still get afraid that my own writing isn't good enough. I get really intimidated by other writers. I'm hoping Magazine Writing will help me shed my fear because I really want to get into that field.

I'm sure you'll do great. I think you're in group 1 with me. If you are I loved the idea of the mail couriers who carry the messenger bags and dress similar. If you're not then I apologize for the confusion.
