Wow, Group 3 had some cool story topics! I got a few a story ideas when each person was discussing his/her article today---which is always awesome.
Anyway, I realized that whenever I read a book I enjoy, I tend to write better afterward. So, if you're having trouble finding the right words, try reading!
I enjoy historical romance novels. Sometimes I catch myself saying words like "dallying" or "distraught." Reading before writing really expands my vocabulary and it makes me better as a writer. Well, at least I hope so. I'll let you be the judge.
The game "Taboo" is also a great and fun way to expand your vocabulary. If you haven't played it, you can borrow mine. (I know, I know, ultimate nerd alert.)
I think I'll write an article on fun ways to expand one's vocabulary. What do you think?
Have a great week!

The stories were/are quite 'cool' and your comment about reading making it easier to write is very true... All writers are usually very big readers. Well, not big as in BIG...but... ok.... you get it. Nice posting....
